cry out for: ~을 몹시 필요로 하다, ~을 간절히 바라다

Sun        잘 우는 배우가 필요했던 썬킴 영화감독은 오디션을 열었어요.

 Peter       Director Sun Kim was crying out for an actor who could cry, 

                so he held an audition.

 Sun        오디션에 참가한 피터는 막 울면서 고함까지 질렀어요.

 Peter       Peter came for the audition and started crying out.  

 Sun        하지만 너무 못생기게 울었다는 이유로 

               피터는 오디션에서 떨어졌어요.

 Peter       But picking out Peter's unattractive crying, 

                Sun sent him home from the audition. 

 Sun        피터는 오디션을 다시 보고싶다고 했지만, 

               이미 엎질러진 물이었어요.

 Peter       Peter wanted to try the audition again 

                but thought "don't cry over spilled milk."

 

 Sun        그 후 피터는 예쁘게 우는 법을 연구해 배우가 됐고, 

     할리우드에서 행복하게 살았답니다.

 Peter       In the end Peter learnt how to cry well and became an actor, 

                living happily ever after in Hollywood.
