The characters in the play strike a chord because their speech and their reactions are like ours.

(그 연극에 나온 인물들의 말하는거랑 반응하는 것이 우리가 하는 것과 비슷해서 공감이 됐다/ 와 닿았다.)

Clearly the book has struck a chord, as we can see from the hundreds of letters we have received from readers.
