call A into question: A에 대해 문제를 삼다. 

  [A가 사람이라면] A가 어떤 일을 하는 데 있어 자격이 있는지 질문해서 따져보다.

 Because of her poor record, we were forced to call 

 Dr.Jones into question.

Jones 박사에 대한 기록[문서]들이 부실해서 우리는 어쩔 수 없이  Jones 박사가 적격한 사람인지 직접 따져봐야 했다.
